In addition to being an Australian Company Authorized Representative, Kaytama is a specialist timber supplier offering a wide range of Asian Tropical Hardwood species in a variety of profiles. We are a trading company and holder of the Timber Legality Verification System [S-LK] No. : 0133-VLHH-MMS-013-IDN & SVLK No. : VLHH-32-09-0004 in Ciamis, a small town in West Java, Indonesia and have been operating since 7 September 2012. Kaytama has become a leading international trading company and we are proud to have sold to more than 40 customers spread over more than 21 countries over the years.

Our Story

Astonishing Period

Kaytama is a family business owned by Yudi Eko Santosa and his close family members with over 25 years experience in the timber industry. Yudi Eko Santosa worked for the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry for 17 years and 3 months [1 April 1996 – 1 July 2013]. He has spent the last 17 years in sustainable forest management and has extensive knowledge in managing the best timber product to meet all customer requirements. Deep respect and understanding of the business needs of our buyers or suppliers is an integral part of developing longterm relationships which is always our ultimate goal.

Through a well managed expansion strategy, Kaytama has succeeded in establishing and adding container shipping as a new business segment, which is the most important point in export and import trade. Utilising its extensive network, Kaytama’s container shipping division provides reliable services between ports worldwide for manufacturers, exporters and importers. Our relationships with global shipping lines allow us to effectively manage your shipments to all parts of the world, supported by the advantages of qualified management from each shipping lines and the availability of abundant equipment.
